Electronic Communications Disclosure and Consent

By opening an account with Stessa or a banking-as-a-service business account with Stessa as a Program Partner (collectively, “Stessa account”), you agree to allow Stessa, Inc. (“us” or “we”) to communicate with you through electronic means and you agree that the use of electronic records and communications satisfies any requirement that such information be provided in writing.

Communications Covered by this Consent

Your consent to receive electronic documents covers all disclosures that we may provide in connection with your Stessa accounts and account services, including but not limited to periodic statements, privacy disclosures, change-in-term notices, returned item notices, tax and transaction information, alerts, announcements, correspondence, and other communications (collectively, “Communications”).

At our sole discretion and in compliance with applicable law, we may deliver some or all of these Communications physically or electronically.

Communications Delivered Physically

If we elect to deliver Communications to you physically, we will send the Communications by U.S. first class mail, registered or certified mail, or commercial carrier to the mailing address recorded on your Stessa account.

Communications Delivered Electronically

Electronic Communications will be delivered and made available to you on our website, www.Stessa.com; through our mobile application (for iOS or Android operating systems); or electronic mail to the email address you provided to us in connection with your Stessa account registration.  

Hardware or Software Required to Access or Store Electronic Communications

To access electronic Communications on a computer or device, you must have a Stessa account user login name and password and:


  • An internet connection and browser that is supported by your operating system, including Edge (version 93 or higher), Firefox (version 91 or higher), Safari (version 14.1 or higher), or Chrome (version 93 or higher)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader or other PDF-reader.


To store electronic Communications, you must have:


  • A printer attached to your computer or device (for printed copies)
  • A hard drive or other secure storage device or site (for electronic copies).


To protect your data, you should also keep your security software, internet browser, and operating system up to date and use antivirus, malware, or firewall programs.


We will notify you if our hardware, software, and other system requirements change.

Updating Contact Information

It is your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information so that we may send you electronic or physical Communications. You can update your email address and other contact information by logging into your online account at Stessa.com or by emailing us at support@stessa.com.

For your security, we may delay a change of contact information until we can verify requests received via mail or an e-mail address different from the one previously provided by you.

Requests for Paper Statements, Disclosures, or Notices

If you would like to receive a physical copy of any Communication, including this agreement, contact us at support@stessa.com. If you request to receive a physical copy of any Communication, we will charge a fee of $1.50 per page, not to exceed $20 per Communication, for providing a physical copy of the Communication.

Withdrawing Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to this agreement at any time by contacting us at support@stessa.com. If you withdraw your consent, we will charge a $25 monthly fee for providing physical Communications.
